Participating in Friends in Faith, Inc. Events
Friends in Faith, Inc. started as a ministry in January 2023 and became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2026. Friends in Faith, Inc. invites young adults with disabilities to upcoming events with peers. We offer several events throughout the month and ask that you bring a parent or caregiver to each one.
Art Class is held twice a month from 1-2pm on Tuesday and 11-12pm on Friday. It is our goal to create a nurturing, inclusive environment for students of all abilities and have them find joy in their artistic expression!
FIF on Saturdays is typically held from 5:00-7:00pm several times a month. Each event includes faith, food, and fun with high school student volunteers. If you're able, please consider signing up to bring snacks, drinks, or paper products to this event.
Fridays At Loyola is a joint event with peers from Gallagher Services held on Fridays from 10:00-12:00pm. We play games, do a seasonal craft, and eat a snack alongside Loyola students!
Gardening Class is held several times a month from 10:30am-12:30pm with a packed lunch time in the garden. Everyone will be a part of the growing process from seed to harvest!
Music Class is held on Tuesdays from 1:00-2:00pm. We get the opportunity to play different instruments and move our body to the music!
Nature Class is held on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am. We get to slow down and discover the natural world around us!
No-Bake Class is held on alternating Wednesdays each month from 10:30-12:30pm with a packed lunch time. We explore simple recipes while building everyday, independent living skills!
