Participating in Friends in Faith Events
Friends in Faith, a ministry established in January 2023, invites young adults with disabilities (ages 21+) to upcoming events with peers. We currently offer five events throughout the month and ask that you bring a parent or caregiver to each one.
Music Class is typically held on the second Tuesday of the month from 1:00-2:00pm. We get the opportunity to play different instruments and move our body to the music!
Art Class is held on a Friday from 11:00-12:00pm. It is our goal to create a nurturing, inclusive environment for students of all abilities and have them find joy in their artistic expression!
Fridays At Loyola is a joint event with peers from Gallagher Services also held on a Friday from 10:00-12:00pm. We play games, do a seasonal craft, and eat a snack alongside Loyola students!
Gardening Class is held once a month from 10:30am-12:30pm with a packed lunch time in the garden. Everyone will be a part of the growing process from seed to harvest!
FIF on Saturdays is typically from 5:00-7:00pm. Each event includes fellowship, faith, food, and fun with high school student volunteers. If you're able, please consider signing up to bring snacks, drinks, or paper products to this event.
